In the middle of the year, uhlsport presents the new main collection of goalkeeper gloves for EURO 2021. The HYPERACT gloves come in a night blue and fluo yellow, attracting attention even from opposing strikers. The collection sets new standards for amateur and professional keepers with the new features: REBOUND ZONE (flexible pads on the backhand), AIRPRENE (breathable backhand) and the DUAL FIX SYSTEM (two closure tabs).

HYPER PINK – a special goalkeeper glove
In October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, uhlsport has set an example with a pink goalkeeper glove. The HYPER PINK is intended to generate awareness of the disease. Prevention and early detection are important indicators of the chances of a cure. Soccer is sometimes not everything in life.
For this reason, uhlsport is making a donation to support the non-profit organization “Brustkrebs Deutschland e.V.” (Breast Cancer Germany), which is continuously involved in awareness campaigns on the subject of breast cancer.

Jersey presentation 1. FC Köln and 1 FC. Magdeburg
Before the start of the 2021/22 Bundesliga season, uhlsport presents the new jerseys for the upcoming season together with 1. FC Köln and 1. FC Magdeburg. The new home jersey from Bundesliga soccer team 1. FC Köln is intended as a sign of the solidarity between the club and its fans, who have faced and will continue to face major challenges during the special circumstances of the Corona pandemic. The front of the new jersey is made of recycled polyester for the first time. In terms of color, the home jersey is classic white-based with delicate horizontal stripes in red. The new away jersey features a unique paisley design, while the away jersey focuses on elegant black with red and white accents. In November, the new carnival jersey was presented. Many colorful confetti particles are also the dominant element on the jersey, which is designed in the traditional basic color of white, complemented by red on the sleeves and shoulder area.
In the new season of the 3rd division, supplier uhlsport presented the new home and away jerseys of 1. FC Magdeburg, which are traditionally dominated by the familiar club colors of blue and white.

Mendy wins Champions League
The uhlsport goalkeeper gloves were also worn in the Champions League. Édouard Mendy was the 2021 Champions League winner with Chelsea FC and stood in goal for the Londoners in all matches. With outstanding performances, Mendy was also voted goalkeeper of the Champions Legaue season 2020/21.

This year, the European Championship was made up for 2020.
