Fortuna Düsseldorf
Tradition and passion. These are two essential ingredients of Fortuna Düsseldorf. Founded in 1895, the club is one of the most traditional in Germany. The history of the club tells of the German Championship triumph in 1933, of the legendary run from the Regional League to the Second Bundesliga between 2007 and 2009 and of course, the return to the First Bundesliga.
The very loyal and enthusiastic fans as well as the unmistakable Düsseldorf skyline sharpen the image of the club. The history, as well as the connection to the city and the people are fundamental for the appearance of Fortuna. This can also be seen on the pitch – be it with a home jersey in honour of the first Bundesliga ascent, an away jersey in the design of the Düsseldorf Wehrhahn line and a limited edition special jersey in respect of the 100th birthday of club icon Toni Turek.
The goal and motivation for the cooperation between Fortuna and uhlsport is to build on the great successes of the past. Both have been pursuing this goal together since 2017.
