Like father, like son. Kasper Schmeichel’s father Peter was already an absolute goalkeeping legend. Kasper has now also achieved legendary status in Denmark.
With 99 caps for his country, he is one of Denmark’s most-capped players. At Euro 2021, he impressed with outstanding performances and made it to the semi-finals with his country. The greatest success for Denmark since 1992. Schmeichel also achieved historic success in club football. In the 15/16 season, he unexpectedly became English champion with Leicester City.
