Oliver Baumann on the most important tool of a goalkeeper

Oliver Baumann is an integral part of the German Bundesliga. He has been standing between the posts in the top German league for over a decade. His most faithful companion is his glove!
The cut of his glove plays a particularly important role for Oli. After an injury, he tapes his little finger and ring finger together to prevent them from being damaged again. Together with uhlsport, a glove was then developed for Oli that unites these two fingers from the outset and thus gives him a good feeling.
The intended wide cut of his glove, due to the wide cut outer seam, also maximises the ball contact area of the adhesive foam and thus provides him with a larger grip zone and even more catching safety.
“I’m glad you guys worked it out the way you did because I feel extremely comfortable there.”
When it comes to grip, Oli trusts the ABSOLUTGRIP. For him, it’s the best grip if you like to get the glove very wet.
“I think that one is very diverse.”
