Diant Ramaj moves from the 2nd Bundesliga to Eintracht Frankfurt in the 1st Bundesliga. The youngstar can now prove his ability in Germany but also in Europe, in the Euroleague.
Diant wants to arrive in the Bundesliga and develop further. For him, the passion for the game is the most important thing. Diant is a very ambitious goalkeeper and is annoyed by every goal he concedes. But giving up was never an option for Diant his attitude: “You always have to get back up!”
We had a short interview with Diant Ramaj. He talkes about why he became a goalkeeper, how he can influence the final result as a goalkeeper and about his goalkeeper gloves.
Hi Diant, you joined Eintrach Frankfurt in the summer, how did your start go?
My start was very good, I was very well received here. The people around me are very nice and I have been able to show my performance and develop here so far.
As a goalkeeper, how can you influence the final result?
The best way is to keep all the balls, then you always play to zero. (laughs) But that’s impossible. With a good performance, you can also decide a game and help the team win.
Why did you become a goalkeeper?
I used to be a field player, but as a goalkeeper you were always something special. You are part of the team but still a lone fighter. I really enjoy being a little crazy in there and holding the balls.
What is especially important to you about your glove?
What’s important to me about my glove is that it fits well and has a good grip. But uhlsport has always done a very good job in that respect.
